Jeff Kashiwa - One of the most diverse, in demand sax players in all of contemporary jazz, Jeff Kashiwa finds pure joy at the heart of his increasingly fast-paced touring schedule by reminding himself, every time he gets on stage, that he’s there to do one thing: Play! A native of Seattle who also currently makes his home in the U.S.’s “Emerald City,” Jeff Kashiwa became one of the most dynamic live saxophonists in contemporary jazz during his amazing decade long tenure with The Rippingtons. Performing hundreds of Ripps gigs all over the world, he appeared on many of the band’s classic recordings, including Welcome to the St. James Club, Curves Ahead, Weekend in Monaco, Sahara and Black Diamond, as well as Live in L.A.

Kim Waters - Kim Waters has enjoyed a career longevity that is rare in the music business. For close to two decades the saxophonist, composer and producer has been one of the premier architects of Urban Smooth Jazz and a beacon of light in contemporary jazz. He has garnered praise from critics and fans alike, amassing record sales of over a million albums and ranks among the top five best-selling instrumentalists in jazz. Kim Waters’ music has fine-tuned the perfect combination of sensitivity and brawn, intellect and emotion and technique and soulfulness. It is these winning combinations, along with his sincere dedication and love for his craft that have enabled him to score top-ten singles on all of his thirteen albums as a leader.

Steve Cole - A native of Chicago, Illinois, saxophonist Steve Cole studied music at Northwestern University, and business at the University of Chicago.  Initially classically trained, Steve had the honor of performing as soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at the age of 18.  Despite his success in the classical realm, Cole opted to focus on his true musical loves, Jazz, Pop and R&B. Steve began gigging frequently on the local Chicago music scene as a session player, playing on countless national commercial spots, contributing to a number of soundtracks on the A&E network, as well as composing and performing music with keyboardists Bob Mamet and Brian Culbertson

Marc Antoine - Contemporary jazz guitarist Marc Antoine blends his classical training with a multi-cultural urban groove. After studying at the Edouard Paiteron College and the International School of Classical Guitar, he played with a typically varied cast of artists: pop stars like Sting, Basia and Selena, rappers like Guru's Jazzmatazz project and Queen Latifah, plus acid jazz hipsters the Solsonics and DJ Greyboy.

Paul Brown - With the crisp, jazzy sound of his beloved Gibson L-5  guitar once again front and center, two-time Grammy Award winner Paul Brown keeps his grooving momentum going on his Peak Records debut White Sand.  Quickly closing in on a staggering 50 #1 charting airplay hits as the smooth jazz genre’s top producer over the past 15 years, Brown had the unique experience in 2006 of scoring #1 Radio & Records chart hits as both an artist and producer. According to Brown, one of the great advantages to having composed, arranged, engineered and produced for nearly every top smooth jazz artist since the early 1990s is being able to invite them into the studio to create the kind of spontaneous and energetic ensemble action that happens on White Sand.

Kenny Rankin - In a remarkable recording career that spans three and a half decades, Kenny Rankin has established an impressive set of creative credentials, as an insightful songwriter, a distinctive guitarist and, above all, a world-class singer possessing an uncanny ability to cut straight to a song's emotional heart. It's the latter aspect of Rankin's multifaceted talent that's spotlighted on his Verve recording, "A Song for You" on which the veteran stylist applies his singular interpretive skills to an artfully assembled set of songs drawn from a variety of sources, with sublimely sympathetic instrumental support from some of music's most respected players.
